**The College Women of the Year Are a Swimmer, a Skater, and an Ice Hockey Player**

For the first time in the 34-year history of the award, Glamour will give its College Women of the Year title to three women: Riley McCusker, Erin Jackson, and Cayla Barnes.

The trio of student-athletes have excelled in their respective sports—McCusker in swimming, Jackson in speed skating, and Barnes in ice hockey—while also using their platforms to speak out on social justice issues. They are powerful role models for young women everywhere, and Glamour is proud to honor them with this award.

**Riley McCusker**

A junior at the University of California, Berkeley, McCusker is a two-time NCAA champion in the 200-yard butterfly. She is also a member of the U.S. national swim team and has competed in two Olympic trials. Off the pool deck, McCusker is a vocal advocate for mental health awareness and has spoken out about her own struggles with depression and anxiety.

**Erin Jackson**

A senior at the University of Florida, Jackson is a two-time Olympic medalist in speed skating. She is the first Black woman to win an Olympic medal in the sport. Jackson is also a dedicated volunteer and has worked with organizations that support underserved communities.

**Cayla Barnes**

A senior at Boston College, Barnes is a two-time Patty Kazmaier Award winner, given to the top player in NCAA Division I women’s ice hockey. She is also a member of the U.S. national ice hockey team and has competed in two world championships. Barnes is a passionate advocate for gender equality and has spoken out against sexism in sports.

McCusker, Jackson, and Barnes are all exceptional athletes and outstanding role models. They are an inspiration to young women everywhere, and Glamour is proud to honor them with this award.

**The College Women of the Year award is given annually to three women who have made significant contributions to their communities and the world. The winners are selected by a panel of judges from Glamour, the National Women’s History Museum, and the Girl Scouts of the USA.**.
