The United States is set to share half a billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines with the world, President Joe Biden announced Thursday.
The doses will be donated through COVAX, the global vaccine sharing initiative, and will be delivered over the next two years. The United States has already donated 200 million doses of vaccines to other countries, and this new commitment brings the total to 700 million.
