The More People Who Get Vaccinated, the Less Likely COVID Spreads, Even for the Unvaccinated

As of last week, 75% of adults in the United States had received at least one dose of a COVID vaccine, and 63% were fully vaccinated. In recent weeks, the number of new daily COVID cases has dropped by more than 90%, and the number of people hospitalized with COVID has fallen by more than 80%.

But despite the progress that has been made, there are still a significant number of people who remain unvaccinated. According to a recent poll, 20% of Americans say they are not planning to get vaccinated.

There are a variety of reasons why people may choose not to get vaccinated. Some people are concerned about the side effects of the vaccines. Others believe that the vaccines are not effective. And still others simply do not trust the government or the medical establishment.

Whatever the reason, the decision not to get vaccinated is a personal one. But it is important to be aware of the risks of remaining unvaccinated.

Unvaccinated people are at a much higher risk of getting sick from COVID. They are also more likely to be hospitalized and to die from the disease.

In addition, unvaccinated people are more likely to spread COVID to others. This is because the vaccines do not completely prevent people from getting infected with the virus. However, they do make it less likely that people will become infected and, if they do become infected, they are less likely to spread the virus to others.

This is why it is so important for as many people as possible to get vaccinated. The more people who are vaccinated, the less likely COVID is to spread, even for the unvaccinated.

If you are not vaccinated, I urge you to reconsider. The vaccines are safe and effective, and they are the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones from COVID.
