Tay, 55, received her positive test result on Wednesday evening, according to a Facebook post by local Chinese newspaper Shin Min Daily News..
She wrote in a WeChat message to the newspaper that she had been feeling unwell for the past few days and had sought medical attention on Wednesday after developing a fever..
Tay added that she has been fully vaccinated and had received her booster shot last November..
She is currently isolating at home and is said to be in stable condition..
Mediacorp, Tay’s management company, confirmed her diagnosis to TODAY..
In a statement to the local English daily, Mediacorp said that Tay had been “feeling unwell in the past few days and developed a fever yesterday”..
“She sought medical attention yesterday and her PCR test came back positive this evening,” Mediacorp added..
“Zoe is currently isolating at home and is in stable condition.”.
